Time for Yourself: How This Carlsbad Mom of 4 Found Her Strength at YoFiT
It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end, especially with the back-to-school season in full swing. We know this can be a crazy time for moms—from shopping and meal planning to adjusting to those early mornings, it’s easy to feel exhausted.
But the good news is, a structured schedule is the perfect opportunity to make time for yourself. The best thing you can do for your children is to take care of your own health and fitness.
But don’t just take our word for it, listen to our client, Tamara. A busy Carlsbad mom of four, she came to us after her fourth baby, ready to get her health back on track. She knows the power of putting herself first to be a better mom for her kids, and she’s been absolutely crushing it ever since.
Like many of our most successful members, she started with our personal training and then made a seamless transition into our small group classes.

I never felt lost as to what to do and if I was ever confused, the instructor was always there to guide me. Also knowing what weights I use in personal training helped to know what weights to grab during classes.”

“The transition was super easy! I was nervous to jump into classes but I made sure to sign up for my first class with my trainer, and she was there by my side the whole time making me feel confident! Class sizes were not overwhelmingly large and everyone was at their own level so it wasn’t intimidating at all!”

“Just do it. Stop making excuses. Get there and get strong. Whether it be to lose weight, to get fit, or just to get alone time you’ll be a better mom for it. I always have so much more patience for my 4 kids after a good workout at YoFiT. I love being able to set that example that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of others.”
